“This event, We Are Outside. It’s for Black women who come to Paris and can explore the freedom of France. I’m the owner of Paris Chic Code. My business is about helping Black women move here. I’ve been living in Paris over a decade , and I discovered the freedom, the atmosphere, and everything France gave us, especially as Black women. It was also to celebrate Jay-Z. Jay-Z is coming here for his 30th anniversary concert. So that’s why it was the perfect time to bring things together. Many of the women come from the United States. And right now, the United States is really fragmented. Here, it’s to celebrate the freedom of Black women. You can find people who share culture and joyful things with you outside the United States too.”
